MSTCV Series Modular Solenoid Operated Throttle Check Valves

MSTCV series modular solenoid operated throttle check valves are used to restrict flow in one direction while allowing free-flow in the opposite direction as check valves. In the meanwhile, it can use solenoid valve to open circuit.

Overview

The MSTCV Series is a modular stackable electro-hydraulic one-way throttle valve designed for precise flow control in hydraulic systems. This compact, sandwich-type valve combines the functions of a throttle valve and a check valve with solenoid-operated control, enabling automated flow regulation in both directions of hydraulic circuit operation.

Working Principle

  • Free Flow Direction: Hydraulic fluid passes through the check valve with minimal pressure drop, allowing rapid actuator movement in one direction

  • Controlled Flow Direction: When the solenoid is energized, the throttle valve opens to a preset adjustable position, restricting flow and controlling actuator speed in the reverse direction

  • Fail-Safe Position: When de-energized, the valve returns to its default state (normally closed or normally open, depending on configuration)
